To maximize your bouquet’s vase life and keep your flowers looking their best, follow these simple instructions:

• Do not leave your flowers in a hot car and keep them out of direct sunlight.

• Once home, give the stems a fresh cut at a 45-degree angle.

• Place flowers in a clean vase or jar. Keep your vase/container clean.

• Be sure there are no leaves below the water line in the vase - leaves can cause the water to build bacteria quickly.

• Replenish the water in your vase/jar every 2-3 days. You can extend the life of your flowers if you take an extra step and use hot soapy water or even a touch of bleach to clean the jar after each refill. Bacteria in the water can clog the stem and reduce its ability to take up water, decreasing vase life.

• Continue to keep the flowers away from direct sunlight to extend their vase life.
