- 01Fresh Cut Flower Care: To help ensure your blooms stay beautiful as long as possible we recommend the following care tips: 1. Do not leave your flowers in a hot car and keep them out of direct sunlight. 2. Once home, give the stems a fresh cut at a 45-degree angle. 3. Place flowers in a clean vase or jar. Keep your vase/container clean. 4. Be sure there are no leaves below the water line in the vase - leaves can cause the water to build bacteria quickly. 5. Replenish the water in your vase/jar every 2-3 days. You can extend the life of your flowers if you take an extra step and use hot soapy water or even a touch of bleach to clean the jar after each refill. Bacteria in the water can clog the stem and reduce its ability to take up water, decreasing vase life. 6. Continue to keep the flowers away from direct sunlight to extend their vase life. 7. Enjoy!

- 05Almost 80 percent of fresh flowers sold in the United States and Canada are not grown in North America. The production and sale of locally-grown cut flowers contribute to a community’s economy, and provide employment and valuable agriculture experience to many (source: Localflowers.org)(https://localflowers.org/why-buy-local-flowers/). Buying local helps small farms like me turn big dreams into a reality!
