About U-Pick

The U-Pick Flower Field is CLOSED for the season.

Please visit the Events page for U-Pick dates and times.

Our U-Pick is open from late June - October on select days and times. For events or current times we are open, please see our Facebook page or visit the Events page. The U-Pick is located on our family farm and is only open to the public during the scheduled dates and times.

RSVP to the U-Pick is recommended but not required. By RSVPing, you will be notified of any cancelations due to weather.

Things to Keep in Mind Before You Visit Us

What to Bring

We will have flower snips available, but feel free to bring your own.
Be sure you wear/bring appropriate footwear.
Sunglasses, water bottles, hats and sunscreen can make your u-pick experience more enjoyable.
You may consider wearing gloves, as a few plants might have scratchy leaves and sap.
We do not allow animals of any kind on our property. Please let us know in advance if you have a registered service dog.

Parking

Parking is right across the road from the flower field. Please park in an available spot in the barn lot.

Photography

We welcome you to take photos of the flowers and your experience on the farm to share with your friends. Please tag us on social at #homegrownonhaubnerhill.
We do not allow professional photography sessions during our u-pick. (contact us to schedule a time outside of u-pick).

Pricing

$20 (plus tax) - Approximately 25 stems per cup.
We don’t want to take away from your experience on the farm by counting the stems you have but we do ask that you respect the value and don’t overstuff your cup or bucket. Please make sure all your flower stems are in the water. If you have questions we are more than happy to help you while you are here.

Cut at Your Own Risk

The flowers grow in an open field, there may be ruts, uneven ground or holes so please watch your step.
By coming to our farm, you acknowledge the inherent risks that come with being outside in a wooded and farm environment, and agree to accept those risks.

Restroom

The restroom is located in the small building next to the barn (parking area).

How to U-Pick!

Stop by the info table, select the provided u-pick container already filled with with water and pay $20.

Begin cutting and feel free to ask questions or ask for help.

Take lots of pictures and enjoy!

Stop at the info table and transfer your flowers into the provided paper cup for the ride home.

Reminders

When entering Haubner Road, please drive slowly.
Respect my neighbors space.
We do not use pesticides and welcome pollinator and beneficial bugs to the flower field. Please enjoy watching and do no harm.
We recommend cutting LONG stems. This encourages the plant to grow more and will provide greater flexibility when you are arranging your bouquet.
We will typically close if it is raining. If rain is in the area, call before coming to ensure we are open.
Adults MUST supervise their children at all times.
Guests may NOT go into the additional gardens, woods, or into the barns/buildings. This is for your safety.
